Berry Angel Food Cake Patriotic Parfait

Yogurt Berry ParfaitLayne’s Berry Angel Food Cake Patriotic Parfait

  • 1 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, quartered
  • 2 cups (1-inch cubes) prepared angel food cake (about 2.5 ounces)
  • 1 ½ cups fresh blueberries
  • Whipped cream (optional)

In a small bowl combine yogurt and 1/2 cup of the strawberries.

In four large wine glasses or mason jars evenly divide and layer the angel food cake into the bottom of the glass or jar. Then evenly divide and layer the balance of fresh strawberries, then the yogurt-strawberry mixture and top with blueberries.

Serve with optional whipped cream.
